Keira Mason, MD, is a double-boarded anesthesiologist in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology, an Associate Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, and a longtime clinician and educator at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her clinical and academic work focuses on anesthesia and sedation outside the operating room, pediatric sedation, and adverse events in anesthesia and sedation.
Dr. Mason has edited five textbooks, including Mason’s Pediatric Sedation Outside the Operating Room and Total Intravenous Anesthesia and Target Controlled Infusions: A Comprehensive Global Anthology. She has served on FDA advisories for sedation, chaired international sedation task forces, created Adverse Event Sedation Reporting Tools which are in widespread, on-line use, and has conducted FDA approved pediatric studies using Dexmedetomidine.She has delivered more than 160 invited lectures in over 35 countries and authored or co-authored more than 125 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.

Dr. Yun is a board-certified anesthesiologist who specializes in dental office anesthesia. He obtained his M.D. with honors from the University of Southern California and completed his post-graduate training at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences. He is a Clinical Professor at the Western University of Health Sciences, and an Expert Consultant and Examiner for the Dental Board of California. He is a member of the Board of Counselors at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
He is a Medical Advisory Board member for Healthfirst, the leading provider of emergency medical supplies for dental offices in North America, and a medical consultant for DOCS Education. He has also served as Co-Course Director for Boston Children’s Hospital’s annual conference, Pediatric Sedation Outside the O.R. and is currently Co-Program Director for Snow and Sedation, a conference held in Park City, Utah.
He has extensive clinical research experience and as a popular speaker, gives numerous lectures across the country and internationally on patient safety issues.
